Physician Practice Information Surveyâ€‹The American Medical Association (AMA) has contracted with Mathematica, to conduct a national study to collect representative data on physician practice expenses and hours spent in direct patient care. The Physician Practice Information (PPI) Survey will collect data at the specialty level and will be shared with CMS to update the Medicare Economic Index (MEI) and the Resource Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS).
